Georgia recorded prolifically for Decca Records, laying down over 100 tracks in the six years from 1935. Mainly a vocalist, she was also a competent barrelhouse pianist. She was also capable of a boogie which you can hear on Territory Blues which showcases both her piano and vocal skills. Plastic Crimewave wrote a great little article about her life. Although like so many she died in obscurity, thankfully her work is immortalised on one of the few records dedicated to Boogie Woogie Gals.
